The TT for 2010. Where Ian Hutchinson set a record of 5 victories (all solo classes) and Klaus Klaffenbock finally won the sidecars (infact both races).

The Royal Navy's largest ship,HMS Ocean, sails up the Forth to dock at Rosyth.

My final motorsport meeting of 2009. A very overcast day, struggled to get a good percentage of keepers.

My final motorbike meeting of 2009. A good meeting unfortunately they were unable to complete the days races.
19-20/09/09 Gold Cup at Olivers Mount
The 2009 Gold Cup saw a top class entry and great racing. Guy Martin finally got the bike going to take his 7th Gold Cup in a row.
06/09/09: SMRC and British GT Cup
Latest round of the SMRC Championships, added to that the 100km British GT Cup race made for a long and eventfull day.

Great weekends racing despite the lack of some top names in road racing.
28/06/09: SMRC Meeting at Knockhill
On a day of changeable weather there was some good racing and some bodywork damage to a certain mini.
17/05/09: NEMCRC at East Fortune
NEMCRC meeting at East Fortune. Only saw 8 races but saw some great racing.

The Beltane Fire Society celebrate the transition from Summer to Winter on the streets of Edinburgh.
19/10/08: David Sleigh wins XR2 Championship
Final race meeting of the year at Knockhill. Attrocious weather, a 2nd and a 3rd were enough for David to win the XR2 title.

Final race meeting of the year at East Fortune. Mixed but dry weather and some close racing made for a pleasant day at the track.
20/09/08: The 58th International Steve Henshaw Gold Cup
Another great meeting, sunshine and a number of track records broken. Excellent racing as well.
14/09/08: SMRC at Knockhill
SMRC Fifth round. Once again following David Sleigh, not the best meeting but still ahead in the championships.
13/09/08: RAF Leuchars Airshow
Disappointing display, low cloud made most flying displays impossible. Unfortunately the Vulcan couldn't get airbourne.
16/08/08: Scottish Road Racing at East Fortune
After a damp start it turned into a sunny dyas racing. Tried my Bigma and my reaction, some good shots but too slow for most of the action.
03/08/08: SMRC at Knockhill
With the weather changing from rain to sun every few minutes it was a challenging day for the drivers. However another entertaining day.
27/07/08: East Fortune Airshow
On a cloudy day where the weather caused a delay and rearrangement of the display. Despite this a good show was put on.
20/07/08: Wolves v Glasgow
My last football match of the season. Wolves ran out comfortable winners.
12/07/08: Grange v Greenock
Top of the league clash down at the Grange.
29/06/08: SMRC at Knockhill
Fourth round of the SMRC Championships. Once again following David Sleigh as he comfortably won both XR2 races.
21/06/08: Grange v Ferguslie
The Grange took on Ferguslie, The Grange reached 296. Ferguslie's reply was cut short by rain with the Grange being declared the winner.
14/06/08: Edinburgh Wolves v Chester Romans
The second home match for the Wolves. A good victory marred by an injury to one of the Wolves players

It may not be as big as the centenary event was but the top riders keep on coming back to the island and put on a class show.
18/05/08: NEMCRC May Meeting at East Fortune
Finally got to my first motorcycle meeting of the year. Sun was shining and the racing was good.
04/05/08: Edinburgh Wolves v Merseyside Nighthawks
Wolves home opener of the 2008 BAFL Division 2 North.
03/05/08: Grange v Ayr
The cricket season is under way. Local team the Grange took on Ayr in a low scoring contest.
27/04/08: SMRC at Knockhill
Second SMRC meeting of the year and David gets his first victory in race 1 and follows it with a 2nd place in race 2.
24/04/08: Visit to Edinburgh Butterfly & Insect World
Another great day out at the centre.

Following David Sleigh as he took part in his first XR2 races. A 3rd place and 6th place as well as driver of the day, an excellent start.

Great day out at the centre. Plenty of photo opportunities but watch out it is hot and humid.
